Maybe if you remove the Yahoo Messenger program from your computer then reinstall it, the problem will go away.

Yes indeed! However, it could be your graphics card too… it would really help if you actually told us what “popping” meant… *lol, I’m a states kinda girl*

maybe you ought to check some of the settings of your messenger, if you think there is nothing wrong with the settings that you have selected then just install a newer version if you have an older one. if you do have their latest version then just reinstall it.
