Microsoft Works Spreadsheet copy function seems to

be stuck, the + shows, not the cursor arrow and every time I move it to another cell it highlights both cells or the next 4 or 5 cells - never ending copy function. Need to know how to eliminate that action. ctrl-z doesn’t do it.
