How did my dog die?

My dog well my grandads dog past away today we have had her for about 7/8year she was a shih tzu while i was out today she died i was told that her eye had fell out.

It has been really hot latley so ithought of heat stroke but she was fine as normal this morning and water is place all over the house, She has been on heat for a few days also. could it have been heat stroke or something else i did not see her as she was buried before i arrived home.

no i was told when someone found her, her eye was hanging out and she was bleeding from her mouth i did not see her so im only going from what i herd.

But i looked on internet and it says its not uncommon for a dogs eye to pop out.

She was old and she might have had a tumor in her head that caused the eye to pop out. But she’s crossed the Rainbow Bridge and you’ll see her again when you make that passage yourself!
