How can I communicate better with my mom?

We either get along really well or we hate each other. She makes me feel stupid when I can’t figure out what she expects or what she is asking me. The tense times are usually about my money, like for example she thinks I don’t understand/show enough inititive in my student loans. How can I figure out what she wants?

Once my teacher told me she never got along with her parents when they talked, it always ended in arguements, so what she ended up doing was writing her mom or dad little notes saying how she felt , what was going on, or what the problem was, then her parents would reply to it and they worked out what ever it was that way.

Writ your mom a note telling her what you feel or what you dont understand about her. And ask her to write back, and see how that goes, seems childish but it works

Show appreciation for what she does for you.

It is hard for a parent to let go of a child for college, intellectually they know they must, but from the heart it is difficult.
