life help: i am a mother of 3. - Help.com

i am a mother of 3.

i work in a grocery stor making 7.00 an hour. i make too much for food stamps and not enough to buy food. the proverbial rock and a hard place. my husband has applied for disaility and it seems to take forever to get it. he is bipolar, insulin dependent, suffers from depression, and is at times suicidal. he suffers from high blood pressure, high cholesterol, and diabetes. there are also ruptured discs and herniated discs in his back. you would think that would qualify him for disability quickly but apparently not. our financial problems are what sets off the depression and suicide attempts. he feels that he has failed his family. befor eall of this he was a hard working man, full of life, now he feels like a bum. i can not pay the rent, high utilities, and buy groceries for 5 people on what i make. i cant get help from our local charities because i have an income. it seems to be a cycle and i wm at my wits end to keep up with everything. i am normally a strong woman, but lately i feel that it is all spiraling out of control and i wont be able to keep a roof over our heads or food on the table. i thank god for ramen noodles because they are affordable. my husband also has medications to take and they are expensive. without his meds he would die. any help at all would be appreciated.
