I’ve been a Helper for a long time.

I’m not going to go into the specifics, the details are forever etched into my profile. But lately, I’ve been seeing the regulars, the people who kept me fond of this site, leaving in greater and greater numbers. The ones who’ve stayed, are no longer the friends I remember, but whining children with an axe to grind, for no reason anyone seems willing to share. Even the moderators seem to be going power-hungry and personal in the absence of the Admins. With no one to police the police, so to speak, they’ve begun playing favorites, and even outright neglecting to/refusing to help those who ask. There are trolls everywhere, and even when I attempt to aid the site by distracting them, I’m no longer thanked, but hated for it. I state my opinion, in the same manner as always, and yet, it’s not that I’ve changed, (though I have admitted it in the past when that was the case,) it’s that this is no longer the Help.com that I have grown to cherish. I no longer wish to be a part of this site, as to be associated with it makes me as ill as it once made me proud. If you wish to find me, my e-mail is posted on my Myspace account, which shares my name here. I heven’t used it in a while, but I’ll try to remember to check it, if that’s how you chose to keep in touch with me. I might come back, when the Admins do, or if any of the other Ancients decide to return. But until then, I’m not going to help those whose only priority seems to be one of furthering their name in some nebulous popularity contest. This site has turned into another hole for drama and bickering, and I’ll have none of it. So, for the time being, my e-mail will be the only way you can be sure to reach me. Perhaps to inform me if and when this site ever pulls it’s finger out and gets back to it’s true mission.
