You all know of Facebook, I’m sure.

Well, my girlfriend (So I thought) just got it and it’s been cool for a few days. Sending a few walls-to-walls to one another and what-have-you, but I logged on for my daily check today and there it said, “(She) is now single.” as in she edited that and only that. I looked at her profile and there it was. She was listed as single in her information. I’ve spent a good 6 months with her and she means a whole lot to me, but I’m pretty unstable mentally and I kind of breakdown when girls want to break up and she’s the first girl I’ve really ever gotten close to in such a long time. I don’t want something like this to be the reason I stumble downhill again, I tell myself that she must’ve just made a mistake, but what really are the chances? What does Help.com suppose I do before I explode?

TALK TO HER?! seriously, just ask her. If she is your girlfriend, then im sure she wont mind you asking! Its probably just a mistake. And the more you think about it and dont DO something, the more it will bug you.

Auuuuugh. I suppose I should just wait till I can talk to her, but I’m just scared I’m going to end up exploding. I suppose my problem is how I should take asking her. Should I casually bring it up or confront her with that stern man-foot I’m not so use to using.

Why don’t you just call her and say, ‘hey, why does your fb profile say that you’re single?’

Well I basically did what Fairy Pants said and she had very little to say. First it was,

“Are you upset?”
No I answered.

“Is it that big of a deal?”
No. Not really at all. It just made me sad.

“I’m sorry. I’m new to Facebook and I just thought it was one of those things you had to answer and I wanted to ask you, but you weren’t on or awake.”
It’s not exactly the answer I was expecting, but my heart is in the right place for the first time today. Yay.
