Anger 2- This is the link for Anger 1 http://help.com/post/171241-a-little-anger-can-be-a-good-thing

.2-Anger in and of itself is not always wrong, but what we do with our anger determines whether we act righteously or sinfully. We should be angered by acts of ungodliness, unrighteousness, injustice, and inequity. It is important to examine our hearts when our kids make us angry. If it is righteous anger, let it motivate you to take action and deliver consequences. Examine your anger to determine the motives behind it. Non- Believers may stop here if you want; Believers see the following as a sin: If you are angry because someone has disturbed your pride, self-sufficiency, status, prestige or power, your reaction will likely be sinful. God is angered by these things as well.
Sinful anger is often expressed in harshness, cruelty, bitterness, and a lack of control. If you believe it is a sin as I do it needs to be addressed. But honor God by delivering those consequences with empathy and love.

Examine your anger to determine the motives behind it. If it is sinful anger, pray for the courage to confess, repent and resolve it. The preceding is from ‘ Parenting By Design’ and has been edited by me :) I welcome any questions you may have. Thanks for your time and have a Wonderful Day!

I am schizo-affective and me and my mother had a argument. She was yelling at me and screaming at me in the car on the way to the vet. She said some very hurtful things to me. That I am lazy,I don’t do anything(not true),that the voices I hear are BS.,that I want to be a schizo., and she refuses to take me anywhere now because I am too scared to take a class in public –I am paranoid and hear voices. She won’t take me to the dr. or to the grocery store now. She has blackmailed me. (Do this or else) She also said I was immature and acting- while I cried in the car. I even cried at the vet. too. I couldn’t stop crying because she kept putting me down and making false accusations. I am angry and hurt. She was very verbally abusive to me. I won’t see her anymore I don’t think because I have to take the bus everywhere now. She has basically distanced me from the whole family.I am angry and hurt and I have every reason to be!!!!Don’t you think?

Yes honey you do have a right to be angry and hurt.(((HUGS))I don’t know what scizo-affective means but I think you gave me a good idea of it with the symptoms. I think the problem lies in her hands, she can’t relate if she doesnt have these problems or has them and is denying them. this is typical for the most part and its sad that it will go on.But it’s how we deal with it that gives us peace. we can’t change others ,only make them aware of how they hurt us.but we can change our thinking. I know it hurts even more coming from a parent or loved one but Like i tell many here, parents are people, they are not perfect, all knowing humans. What they say is just their opinions and opinions are not truth.the truth of this is you have a illness and you need support and your not getting it at home so seek it elsewhere. Are you getting professional help? Medicine? Any support?

I usually go on another site and talk to people like myself. This helps me a little and yes, I am heavily medicated. I don’t have a therapist though because that is just another co-payment that I have to pay.Thank you for your thoughts and empathy on the matter. I appreciate it. I wish I had more support though..Oh well.

Christine
