does anyone know anything about man eating piranhas?

I have been read google obtained articles for a couple of days now and i haven’t really found out much, except that Serrasalmus rhombeus is one of the most aggressive piranhas and that instances of piranhas actually attacking people is surprisingly rare. Does anyone know where i can get some real information from?

no other than there is no such thing as a man eating piranha. They are scavengers not hunters and would happily swim past you if you were to be stood in the water. Only desperatly hungry piranhs would attempt to attack you but even then your should have a high chance of escape as the rivers that these fish exist tend to be shallow where light can reach the bottom easily (this is so sunken dead animals can be seen easily even though they mostly use their sense of smell).

But yea, you will find it impossible to find facts about such a thing like this cus it doesnt exist, only in the movies…
