Where were you?
You can also watch events on Help.com as they happen
Not sure about any websites, but you can do stuff like that on photoshop. :]
I think if you go to adobe’s website you can download a free trial. :]
Yeh I’d doubt your going to find a website to do stuff like that. Photoshop makes it quite easy though if you use a few online tutorials or else know somebody that can use the program properly.
You can, it’s not quite legal though.
Is Photobucket not just a photosharing site? I didn’t know there was editing tools with it?
If you download the whole thing online, you have to pay for it. o:
But I’m not sure if you can do that, I haven’t been on the website in quite some time. ]:
Oh yea! iamozy is right too! I think photobucket.com has a little touchup thing. :]
actually, take a look at this site:
http://www.getpaint.net/index.html
i’ve never tried it, but it might work out! it looks like it has some pretty cool features. :)
I looked at that getpaint website, it looks pretty awesome. Nice find iamozy :)
The top right of the website has a “Download paint.net” button or something like that.
Ah ,I don’t know anything about that site really, I’ve never used it.
Go to the website and there’s a download button in the top right corner.
Have you any idea at all how to use photo editing software?
It isn’t all that easy. As in, you need to be able to know either know what your doing or else find very good explanatory tutorials unless you know a person who can help you face to face. Just something to keep in mind before you bother downloading it. There’s no magical “touch-up” buttons in these types of software :)
Has anyone mentioned the GIMP yet? You should go to gimp.org and check it out. It’s a raster image editing program, like photoshop. And it is COMPLETELY 100% free to use and download. No demos or trial versions. It should be available for Windows, Mac, and Linux. Most Linux distros come with it standard, but you should be able to install it on the Windows and Mac easily enough.
Well, its pixel based, so I think that’s what they call that stuff, but you may know more than I on the subject. In any case, gimp and photoshop are in the same category, whatever one may call it.
Oh, I saw that it was a bit difficult to find the Windows and Mac Versions of the gimp on the site. One needs to scroll down to the bottom of the page, and the download links should be there.
That’s what I thought, raster and pixel are pretty different. I don’t know a huge amount on the topic though, that’s why I was confused. I thought Photoshop was pixel based, just wanted to make sure :)
Pixel based and raster based things work differently. Pixel based graphics are digital images that basically all the image is made up of millions of little dots (pixels), when this image is being saved the colour of each of these little dots is recorded and then when you open the image that is how it is converted back to a visual representation.
Raster graphics basically use mathematical calculations and vectors to remember what goes where. Each have their uses and faults, for example with raster graphics you can keep zooming in on a bit of a graphic and the quality of the picture will not change, with pixel graphics the more you zoom in the blurrier the image gets.
I’m not 100% sure it everything I just said is entirely true, that’s what I think they are though :)
