Go for a walk or run then take a hot bath and read a book. Or better yet put on CSPAN or “V for Vendetta.”

You will be asleep in no time.

I have a problem where my sleep cycle is out of sync with the turning of the earth. I slowly rotate around the clock by about 2-3 hours a day. I can stay up for a few days if I had to.

I often run around sundown and that doesn’t help. Pumped up all night so I know what its like.

Yes, I was going to suggest Benadryl. I take it when my insomnia is extreme.

Okay sorry :/. You know what helps me? Making my eyes really tired by playing video games or staying on the computer too long. That plus the sleepyness plus the immobility puts me out.

No thats the problem sometimes. If you want to sleep well its better to run just before supper but I am a bit of night owl so I can’t help myself. Besides when its hot out an evening run is nicer.

I’m just saying that if you do physically hard things earlier in the day you will more likely be tired at night. Sorry if I am not much immediate help.

Valerian root is a natural drug that is available in homeopathic stores. It makes you mellow, i tried it once.
