I am in love with someone and the feelings are mutual.

But I am not even 18 and this person is in his early 20’s. I love him so much but i dont want to lose him just because of our different ages.

Maintain a friendship until you turn 18. If doing this causes you to lose him (he’s not willing to wait), it wasn’t love in the first place.

Pffft, how old are you? 17 I’m guessing. And this guy is in his early 20’s, so 22? Bah, unless he’s a Catholic priest, what on earth are you so worried about?

However, if you’re younger than 17, then yeah, I’d say wait. Mainly for the fact you’re at different stages in your lives, and you’ve got SO much left of your teen years. Enjoy them.
