I need to move out of my house.

I’m still in high school but I have to get out of my house. But I don’t know what to do. Or how to do it. I am a so messed up and confused right now. I have to get out of here. I don’t have enough money for an apartment right now. I just quit my job over the summer but even I got it back, it wouldn’t give me enough money.
Is there such thing as student welfare in United States? I know they have it in Canada. You get money for living if you get good grades. I get As so that wouldn’t be a problem.
There are apartments so rent buy my school too.
Can anyone give me some advice?

If you live in the United States, I would say it’s not exactly the easiest thing in the world to get out on your own while still in high school
But I am sure it has been done so don’t lose hope!

We don’t have student welfare (although it sounds amazing). The only thing I could say would be to try and get yourself emancipated so you become your own legal guardian before you reach the age of 18. But there are probably legal parts to this you should look up first.
You may be able to then obtain help from the state. But again I am not sure as far as the legal issues.

Good luck

Well, i have heard of high-school kids becoming emancipated after just buying a small amount of property and putting a trailer on it. It is feasible that combined with good grades you could, you’d have to talk to a public official i am sure. Hope i was of some assistance…

Why do you need to get out of your parents house?

if they are abusive call child services, they may place you in another house.

If they are not abusive, then just suck it up and take advantage of the situation.
