looks aint everytyhing, ive read that before, i dont think it is real! its not a good thing either way! people need to realise that vanity is stupid! no-one needs to be stupidly skinny or really pretty “beauty is in the eye of the beholder” so there will always be some one who will find someone beautiful!

That was a real person, the story is a little distorted but that is something that did happen to a young girl who got bullied through myspace.
Some people will insult or put someone down and not realise that their words can be sharper than any knife.
A chat room or forum may be just a game to some peoplem they don’t see any one as real or haveing feelings but everything has an effect however small.

It has been proven that women worry more about there looks then men. Men don’t always see why nor do they get it. To a woman she always wants to look good for the guy she likes. That’s nature so it’s only natural to worry about whether she looks good enough. Unfortunately it is very destructive and woman will NEVER know how beautiful she really looks. Not even if she’s told everyday by the man she loves.
Thing is some women stop thinking about how they look and get on with life which is great because that self consiouse feeling goes but some women can’t stop thinking about how they look.
I will say this most f the time women worry about how they look when they are in there teens and still growing up. They still have a lot to learn about life. They still have to learn that looks don’t matter and never will. But when your young….
If the story told was a true event then I am truly sorry for the people involved. I can understand how she would take her own life but then she should have considered how her mum would have felt. She should have taken a step back and thought about it all but then that’s easy for me to say. I’m not a teen any more and I have learnt alot of life’s lessons.
I’d like to add that everyone that has said that the girl mentioned in the story is stupid and that they don’t get it… Unless they have been there or understand a girls fragile mind, They shouldn’t really pass judgement like that. To be honest to call someone stupid shows they are no better then the boy mentioned in the story.
Think about what you say to people. What you think wont hurt them might actually cut deep!

when i was 18 i fell in love with a boy, and when he didnt love me back and he finally told me why it was because I was albino and the way i looked and my family. he never loved me for me, he loved me because i had money. and now i see what i really had a jerk but idk…its hard to explain. im glad him and i arnt together but but i wish he never said what he said. it hurt me more then anything in the world. but it also showed me what some people are like and even though it took me somtime and help to get to be whom i am today it made me stronger too.

the media is to blame! with loads of girls thinking and actually believing that they cant be beautiful because of all the adverts shown on the tv for make up! and personally i know people who wont go out or pretty much wont let anyone look at them if they dont have any make up on, thats how insecure she is! rant rant rant im gonna stop before i wont lol!

It’s brutal when someone has to think they have to please someone else. I’m sure we’ve all done something not to this extent maybe, but to change ourselves for someone else or a group of people to be good enough. I can plead guilty of this on a million cases. But in the end, I do blame media and society. Yeah celebs are good looking and such, rich and famous. But how many die from drug overdoses? How many are miserable and shaving their heads and losing their kids? No one is perfect, the sooner everyone in the world can understand that, the better we’ll all be. But hey, this is just the thoughts and opinions of another 19 year old right? No one listens to me yet, but eventually our word will be heard. (That was lame and unintentional lol)
