I’ve only been to the lake side (and the U.P.) and they have some amazing sand dunes there!!

Hmm, I hear Flint is a pretty rough area. Be careful. Though, I hear it’s got some good clubs.

I was actually heading to Michigan last year, but plans changed. Sadly though, I only know more of the places around Detroit, not Flint. I’m sure there’s some places online you can search.

Hi! I’m a Michigander. Welcome to MI! I’ll agree that the west side is nice for the shore. We actually moved here because we spent so much of our vacation in MI– but that’s because we like to boat, ski, snowmobile, etc.

There is actually a lot to do around Flint if you look for it.

If you are into history or cars, try the Sloan museum in Flint (GM’s history) and the Henry Ford Museum in Dearborn.

Nearby there is a new Ikea.

Also, the Detroit art museum is quite nice and the Flint Farmer’s Market features artists on Thursays.

If you google Genesee parks, Flint MI, they have a lot of info on outdoorsy things to do.

I don’t know the nightlife there, but at least there are some ideas of things to do during the day…check ticketmaster to see if there will be any good shows in town.

hi, thank you, i have been and back, we went to a park at seven great lakes and to the mall at 7 lakes. it was such a great mal. loved it. got way too much!!!
