Jumpstyle-Hardstyle - Tips?

(weird intro but watch it) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=womFrE...

I’m learning Jumpstyle and I wanted to know if there are any tips I should know?

For example, what shoes should I wear?

And I have another question, how do you exactly when to start on the beat? =O

Haha, last but not least, can you use only 1 jumpstyle dance/tricks for any song? Will it look good?

well dude

basically the best tip i can give u is: practice. check out patrick jumpen and other jumpers on youtube and watch their style. try not to copy it, but to integrate their style into your own. also, make sure u get the basic moves lodged in your mind, so when you are jumping, it takes no concentration.

outfit? usually white straight cuts / skinny jeans; white shoes; white or black hoodie. thats about it. try and keep it simple but effective.

you should get yourself a friend who can or is learning to jump, so that you can practice together and get better from each other.

to start on the beat, just start with small jumps on the spot to get into the rhythm, and then start styling.

and you should learn more than just one trick. it would get rather boring watching a jumper doing the same trick over and over. so get on youtube, and learn some moves. or even better, come up with your own.

just a note: it might be an idea to learn some other dance styles such as liquiding, or shuffling. you can integrate these dance moves / styles into jump and that would be sick.

peace.

dont stay stiff when jumping, loosen up and feel free from reality. just focus on the music and the beat. try to jump as high, and quick as possible. to make it look good, i usually fling my arms around in a way like skipping and yeah. just dont stay tight. it ruins it.

Yo where you from? And gutties are shoes they’re like chucks… And to look good at jumping, practice and practice make sure your on beat and that it feels like second nature, and usually for tricks its three times whatever u base style is then a trick three times times base style then another trick…remember you want you own style…

Another good thing is to stay light on your feet.
That’s just a tip, the other person explained every thing you asked very well.
