Try clear up some of the memory, get rid of unused/unnecissary files or put them onto disks or a flash drive.

I have a fast computer, a few months old. A quick internet connection (fast on most websites) but very slow on this one.
So perhaps you shouldn’t dispare to much, it might be the website not your computer.

Also do as Tears_On_The_Balcony says and run your anti spyware and anti virus progs.

Run antivirus.
Run Antispyware.
Uninstall unnecesary software.
Safely Delete unnecesary temp files and Registry entries-(CCleaner is great for that).
Defrag the Hard Disk.

Assuming you are computer literate. (right?)
