If it’s something you can do, try to do it. The thing about them talking at night, get a night light. I know it sounds silly, but really, if you get one and say to them, “I’m going to sleep now, please quiet down,” and dim the lights, they should respect your wishes. Your mom seems a bit frightened by this and it could be that she herself used to see or hear them and has blocked them out. That really is too bad. Take this gift and embrace it. I used to see them when I was younger, now not so much. I hear them a lot though. For example, I used to lay down and try to sleep *last summer* and would constantly here people talking, glasses and silverware clinking and music playing. It was like the sounds of someone having a large dinner party. You know, something you’d see in a movie set in like the 60’s or so and in the south. Just noise really. I could hear the different sounds seperately, but not the voices. It was quite frustrating because I though maybe someone in my apartment complex was blasting music, but when I’d go look it would be quiet.
When I was about 7 or 8 I saw with my own eyes an older woman walking around the house late at night. In the same house I had a recurring dream about an older lady getting killed in my brother’s room… I don’t know if it was the same lady or not though. My mom just told me that around the same time period I told her about a little girl with red hair that was a ghost… apparently it was a dream. Also, she said that I was afraid of her. From what I just asked, my mom said I didn’t like her and she had asked why. My reply to her was that I just didn’t like her. She never spoke to me only was there and just stared at me. I don’t really remember this girl and it’s probably because I was young and she scared me.
Now as an adult *27* I have dreams of ghosts and such. I can see things happening and it sticks with me most of the time. Sometimes though, I don’t know what to do with the information I receive in my dreams. Ok I can explain some of the dizziness thing. Although I find it strange that you don’t experience it while he is there, there is an explanation. Ghosts carry EMF’s. EMF = Electro Magnetic Field. It’s just a fancy expression for engergy really. Everything is made up of energy, whether alive, dead or inanimate. My guess is that when you’re sitting still Josh seems to try to pass through you. Oh, a trusted friend of mine who has much experience with this just told me that when you are walking around you are potentially distorting Josh’s EMF, counterbalancing it, if you will. I am of the opinion that he wasn’t there with you last night. Not all ghosties can move things either. Simply put, Charlotte did not have the same type or strenght EMF Josh has. I am wondering: Is Josh a man or a boy *up to 18*?

Being so young *to me, I’m 27* I can definitely understand why it’s hard for you to figure all this stuff out. I know I must sound like a complete know-it-all and I hate that! LOL I just feel that if you have this special gift, you should encourage it to grow. I, personally do not agree with your mom about not using your gift and trying to repress it. It’s not healthy for one and you can benefit greatly others who really need your help, those who seek it and yourself in many ways. Ask Josh how old he is, next time you’re sure he’s there. sjohn, to talk to them you simply need to open your mouth and speak. It’s really not as hard as everyone thinks it is. The only thing that will get in your way is you not really wanting to hear what they say to you. Good luck.

HI! listen i am a mother who believes that their are spirits among us, however my 15 year old son has recently told me he is hearing voices at night while half asleep, he is so scared, at fist he was afraid to tell me, he states he also has felt like someone is breathing on him, like on his neck and then hears a voice say “help me” he does nothing because he is scared, he is afraid to sleep, i am a nurse i have to question if he is just hearing voices that are in his head and ? if he needs meds, however knowing my son he is not capable to make up such stories, jordan is autistic high functional, jordan really does not have the imagination to make up such stories, and last night i saw how scared he was when he came into my bed, my heart is broke, i want to help him and make him feel safe, i ? if i should take him to see a doctor but i am afraid people will think he is crazy, i believe my son, i plan to have my home blessed, i told jordan to ask the “voice” what could he do to help, but Jordan is so afraid to say any thing,he told me he was so scared to move his mouth, is it just his brain playing tricks on him, i ? if he saw something on tv that scared him now its stuck in his head, i am a mom this is not a joke, i am scared what should i do to help jordan please do not contact me if you are not willing to help, and just think this is just a joke….A concerned mother

there is something we all share in common. a young age and or going pubity or stressed times.

2 nights a go, after getting to sleep late. i found myself on my stomach in bed with my head being pushed into the pillow. i would try to get it up but it would be forced down again,. i was concious of being asleep but was screaming for my partner to “get them off me”…. my partner shook me awake after seeing me levitating my head up then pushing it back into the pillow. i manage to wake up and as soon as i did a female whispered in my ear clearly “Yes”

My partner did not hear this!

in late 2006 my cousin and i was at my uncles house watching my grandfather whom was ill while my uncle was away. one night my grandfather retired. my cousin and i were watching the movie “ghost” on tv (cliche i know)

we were eating corn chips, and we knew that our uncle might get upset that we were doing so. My cousin asked me “what will we say if he asks who ate all the corn chips?”

i replied “ha ha we will just say poppy ate them!”

suddenly the tv volume went down and “JOSH” was yelled over the tv in a distorted voice! as quick it was said the tv went back to normal

i froze and stared over at my cousin who was looking at me with her jaw dropped.

i asked did you hear that, she said yes!

pop was alseep and no one else was there. pop died later that year!

i think rationally, maybe sleep depravation… i feel paralysed in bed with shadows forcing me down, i scream and try to move but i cant!

as a child id just hear them talking to me, some not so pleasant. once i even tried drawing some images of my mothers tarot cards. i was 7 and loved to draw. my mum was quite spiritual at this time, she would light incense, and use tarots etc.

as i was drawing. my hand began shaking, i had no control, i screamed and cried and my mother and her friend came rushing in. suddenly i was writing words i hadnt even learnt to spell yet! i felt numb it was strange!

to all of you out there! i want you to be wise! some say its a gift others say its your immagination, some will tell you they cannot hurt you!

but we do not know who they are! we do not yet have the answers! hearing names or voices may just be a warning.

if they need your help then they should be able to be clearer, otherwise its wasting your time, remember they have time! but you dont. so live your life!

i just want everyone to be mindful that not everything is clouds and gifts. there are energies out there that are there deceiving you and will if you are young and open minded! perhaps its good that some of us can block it out as adults!

if you feel scared its for a good reason, that is yourself telling you that you dont trust the feeling and are uncomfortable! and you should always listen to yourself!

on the other hand if you are comfortable and seem to be getting prgress then by all means go for it and seek answers and help thos whom need it!

i know id like answers,. im not scared to hear them, however i would never like to see them. am i a medium? is it my sprit guide? are they demons attacking me when im down?

so many strange and unexplainable events. and still no answers!

not knowing scares humans, and i think they know this!

Dam, I close my eyes and some places I can see things, like once, I saw a car crash, and I found out later that it happened just up the road and all i cold tinkof was someone named ash or something, oh, and i DO NOT have a spritguide, i just see things all mest up most of the time but i do see things, with my eyes closed!

hello im christina and im 12 see i think ur very luki i would love it if i could hear,see,fell or even talk to ghosts its absolutely amazing see i’ve heard some ghosts really can hurt u my friend her name is kaitlyn she recently lived in a house that well had ghosts she had many cats and they would all suround the basement door her little brother would throw toys down there and say”dont worry she wont hurt you” they had to move thats how i met her we met on my street and i was really freaked when she told me first . Anyways recently when im home alone (i live in a house)my room has stairs that come down so u can get to the addick i’ve heard foot steps maybe its just my imagination but when i say hello it sounds like something runs away anyways if u want any help then email me sometimes the ghosts are shy and to afraid to talk to u maybe thats y they talk at night they might think that ur too tired to hear them have u ever tried having a conversation like maybe if she asks u a question reply it will help them feel like ur listening

i can under stand i am 12 i saw my first nightmare when i was six april 10th 2002 1:00 am. i mean i was terrifie i wasnt sleeping though. i went to go use the bathroom and right at the bathroom door was a man now not just any man it was a gost he had a knife and every thing he walked in to my grandmas room and then i screamed to get her out of there the next day all i did was draw not like a drawing of a flower or some thing more like the man i have 150 drawings of him then i never went back to my grandmas. thats how scared i was now i have been talking and seeing gosts for 6 years and im in the middle of a crisis right now because my friend had a friend whom died in 2002 and was vervy nice as a gost now that my friend wouldnt let it pass over the tables have turned and also she could be killed in a matter of days. now back to your problum you cant see them because you probubly are talking to shadow gosts like my firend. you know hes there because you hear sneckers squeaking on the floor but try asking him to show him self if he doesnt keep doing it just dont get him anoyed. if you have and qestions email me at i> small>(email removed) /small> /i> .

I don’t know if anyone has had an experience with unexplained smells. Once I woke up and could smell cigarette smoke about 1am in the morning. It was like someone was blowing it in my face and I couldn’t get my breath. There was another time where I woke up again around 1am and I got a strong smell of nail polish and everyone in the house was asleep. Now my dog is very restless and starts barking at things that are not there and my husband says that he can smell cigar smoke in the hallway and livingroom area. There are no noises or anything but just the smell. My husband and I are the only two people in the house and neither one of us smokes. I try to associate it with someone I may have known who has passed but neither the cigar smoke or fingernail polish is of anyone that I new. The cigarette smoke may be associated with my father. Some of these smells come when we are upset about something or if we are celebrating a special occasion. Can anyone help me with this
