im going to say that its cause youve had a few bad things happen to you.
some nice circular and obvious logic there.
for more circular logic, id say that its because your a pessimist.
and why are you a pessimist? cause you think negatively…
i think negative a lot too…. but i think it is bc i worry to much…. u just need to surround ueself with positive people, i know cliche, but it helps.
If you think negitave you get negitive results which leds you to think more negitive stuff and get more negitive results. and on and on!!! and trust me your not alone on that!!!!
If you keep thinking negative because of your past Well, you might have some kind of depression and if so see you GP. If not just talk to someone who your really close to about all your problems basically have a heart to heart dicussion and you might start realising what you’ve got and possibly make you start thinking positive again :)
there’s this thing called cognitive behavioral therapy. it’ll teach you to avoid thinking negatively… but it requires you to see a therapist. not saying you need one, just making a suggestion.

Because you want to be appreciated, adored and love. Talking about yourself helps a lot. It takes about more talking about what you like, dislikes or goal in life or just about everything in random. YOu’ll be amaze how fast you recover from being negative to positive person. This is just a repressed hurt over things you never properly expressed or you’re being hurt or put down. So, it is fine if you are negative right now. Talk more about yourself to your friends or acquintance even to stranger you’ll be surprised you are not the only one being negative. While doing that take a pause and notice the words you said and take note what you want to change in the future. Each day teach your mind to think positive and wht you utter make sure it is positive. Repeat saying “Be Positive”. This is based on my self healing. Tell me if it works on you.
I know one thing, you better start thinking positive. If you keep thinking negative, then, not only will nothing good really won’t happen to you, but soon it will become worse and then you will begin to get worser thoughts in your head, may even lead to you thinking of harming yourself. Positive thinking will even out all that bad thinking and help you.
Well then if your not going to think positive, then go do something positive like help somebody, yeah, that will not only help you think better thoughts but will also make you feel better both physically and emotionally.

You have the power to change your thinking. When you find yourself having negative thoughts, stop and turn it around and find something positive in the situation. Don’t allow yourself to be negative. You are already off to a good start since you are aware you think negatively. Awareness is the key to changing for the better.
Being thankful is also helpful. Just start looking at the things in your life that you are thankful for. Daily. Every morning, every night. Being thankful helps you be more aware of the good.
i think that mental control must be the easiest advice to give…

i definately understand what ur going through.i think negative all the time and i have no reason too..i mean girls flirt with me and yet im too tired and anxious to really talk back.yea i talk a little bit but i never really strike up a conversation with them these days..ive been told i look like either michael phelps or ben affleck yet i still put myself down.i used to be outgoing and really funny but now i keep talking down to myself and its killing my social life as well as getting into a relationship.yes ive tried the whole cognitive therapy thing and it helped for like a week,but than after i went back to being negative.my therapist told me i am depressed/anxious all the time and i was prescribed with anxiety meds which all the do is make me tired.i am 19 yrs old and in college.these years should be the best years of my life yet for me im not making them to be.i dont know maybe its the fact that im 19 and trying to figure out what i want to do with my life or it could be that lifes not how it used to be when i didnt have to worry about anything except to try and get good grades.if anyone can help me here i would greatly appreciate it.thanks:)

yup - me 2 when i was a kid my life was awful and im wondering why im living;
however i think positive and my sister thinks negative.we both grew up in the sme hshold,went thru the same dsfnctns as one anther and are both close to the same age (now in our early 40’s).the diff from hr and me is let’s say for an exmple we both bght a new sofa. She would say “guess wht? I bought a new sofa frm bla, bla, you knw it ws so hot in the str and i ws tired and hngry bcz i ddn’t hv time to get grosries, i hd to mk arrngmnts to get the thing home but i cldnt rmember my pcode so thy were gvng me a hrd time, i hd to use my crdt crd to buy it and i’m over my line of credit, i drove hme and hit evry red lght and i really had to go to the toilet, i was too tired to get gas so i just went hme on fumes now i’m going to hve to get up early bfr work to get gas, whn i fnlly got home and hd to walk up the stairs i hate stairs, whn thy fnlly dlivred the sofa when i was jst abt to get in the shwr bcz i was so swty frm the whole ordeal whn the drbell rang for the delivery, so i had to get dressed really fast and my feet were wet I almost sliped and died…..”. i’m sure u get the pnt whereas i wld tell the story “hey guess what? I bought a new sofa!”
My point is that everyone in life has to go through stuff to get in this case a new sofa.the diffrnce is tht pstive ppl highlight the outcome whereas negative people highlight the trials and trbulations of how they acquired it.
anyway, i think i got off track but it was fun in any case. cheers
