certain alcohols can cause skin to looses and skin to develop un healthy looking tones. Ease up off the booze
huh, i never knew that. i dont drink and thats another good reason to not start :]
Vitamins, eat healthy, REGULAR EXERCISE, don’t smoke. Sounds lame, but all of those things have been linked to increased production of elastin (well smoking destroys it). Elastin is the protein responsible for, among other things, “springy” skin.
Avoid sun. Most damaging in early hrs. Use moisturizers also. Plenty of water plumps up the skin. Sleeping on your back also prevents the dreaded pillow lines. Maintanance,, you’ll age gracefully.. No alchol, ages you quickly….

UGHH, im a regular at the tanning salon. :[ i guess i really need to quit.
sad but true. Studies have shown tanning beds are just as damaging. Instead, get a good no streak formula sunless tan . Many good products on the market.
I watched a documentary on aging once, and the scientists debunked all the wrinkle creams and said that the only product that can truly reduce the formation of and improve skin that’s already wrinkled is petroleum jelly. Other products can make skin LOOK temporarily better, but only petroleum jelly actually, really, truly improves it.
Don’t play video games, go out in the sun, no tv, no stress, don’t have pets, don’t wear shorts up higher than your knees, and don’t for god sakes DON’T send relatives post cards

lol thats cool. so what do you do with the petrolem jelly? like put it on at night and wash it off in the morning? or put a tiny bit in the creases and put make up over it?

Put it on at night and wash it off in the morning (with something gentle like cold cream). If you wear it under makeup it will mess it up. If you wear it during the day with NO makeup, you’ll still look greasy. You gently rub in in all over your face. I’ve even taken a soft bristled toothbrush and very gently massaged the jelly into my skin that way. That will exfoliate your skin while getting the jelly all over and in the newer skin cells. Don’t use the toothbrush method every night tho! Just like once or twice a month I’d say. And be especially gentle around the eyes.
If you have a problem with acne, use an acne wash in the morning after you wash off the jelly.

lol yes, i was thinking it’d have to be at night or else you would look greasy or your makeup wouldnt look right. but i was just checking. thank you :]
i would just have a problem with my face rubbing all over my pillow at night.
Another tried and true is CAstol oil. Tried, as good as petrol. & less greasy. Both are winners! However can’t go outside after face washing looking all greased up so get a good moisturizer with a sunscreen, absolute must to prevent wrinkles . Save the other two treatments for bed. Applying to all areas, arms, legs, chest, with vaseline or castro oil will indeed soften these areas as well. Check out tyRa BankS,the model’s website she swears by these. Find alot of beauty tips there.

motor oil!?!? are you serious??
It isn’t bad. I thought it would be a problem too. I imagined my hair all stuck to my face in the morning. lol
But after you put it on, wipe your face with a cloth. I forgot to add that part. Just to get the excess off. It doesn’t need to be on thick or anything, your skin cells will soak up what they need, so just a thin layer will do the trick, and then wipe off excess so you don’t feel greasy. Don’t rub or scrub your face with the cloth, just wipe it gently once.
You can’t wear it during the day though because we make oils on our faces, so that added to the traces of vasoline makes a bit of a mess of things.

OHH castol! i thought it said castrol the motor oil! i was like ummm no way im putting that on my face!! haha :]
good, glad you know what i mean.
go to a local drug store, their bound to have face cream to help prevent wrinkles.
Hehe, motor oil wasn’t a bad guess. I also think Castrol oil IS a petroleum oil, because Castrol is based around refinery business.
By the way, motor oil is the best cleaning stuff to get the hands clean after dirty car mechanics’ work, to be possibly challenged only by hand-rolling meatballs… hehe. But thorough cleaning afterwards with soap is required, plus another lotion, because it dissolves also the natural skin oils.
