Perhaps you think that by taking twice as much of the medication it will work twice as well… Doesn’t work that way. In general, taking more than the recommended dose of a medication doesn’t make it more effective or faster. Could be dangerous, don’t know, never heard of airborne before.

it’s basically a dietary supplement that boosts your immune system.

airbornehealth.com if you’re curious.

The shower thing won’t help you with the Airborne problem, only relieving your sinuses.
It probably wasn’t a good idea, since each tablet has 1670% of your daily Vitamin C value, but really, I think you’ll be fine. Drink lots of water and maybe stay away from oranges and I’m sure by tomorrow or the day after you’ll feel just fine.

When I’ve taken more than the recommended dose, I’ve gotten stomach “issues.” You won’t die or anything, but I don’t think the body can really process like 9000% of your daily recommended allowance of a vitamin, you know? I doubt it heps beyond a certain point.

Lots of rest and fluids will also help. Feel better!

Hello thedonutbandit,
Yes you can overdose on airborne, infact you can even get an overdose of water. Now onto your problem, just one quick question before we can delve are you allergic to bee’s please I am not trying to find any info about you it is just that I know a good bit about medicine and have one natural thing that like the airborne will give your immune system a boost but it will give you other things also.

anything in excess is potentially harmful; that’s a given. anyway, no i’m not allergic to bees. why do you ask?

Yes, since Airborne is a vitamin supplement, you can overdose on the vitamins. Also, Airborne’s makers got sued, because vitamin supplements do NOT prevent your catching infectious diseases. I marveled at the marketing of this product when I first saw it. “Developed by a teacher,” the advertisements said. Not by a doctor or biochemist, but by a teacher with no medical credentials. I also knew that not all the vitamins in the world could prevent you from getting a cold. By the way, most colds and flu viruses are spread by contact, not by inhaling germs out of the air. Wash your hands frequently, and keep your hands away from your eyes, nose and mouth. Disinfect surfaces handled by infected people: use Lysol or some similar product. Remember, too, that the average telephone, computer keyboard and mouse have far more germs on them than the average toilet seat. Toilet seats get cleaned and disinfected frequently; not so most computer keyboards and mice.

Ok Heath Ledger or however you spell it. That’s the same shyt he did. You can overdose on anything pretty much. Try some aleve headaches and sinus if you have a cold and take some alkaseltzer. Vicks 44 is also some good med. Nasty as hell, but it works, so try that. I think the airborne is supposed to keep you from getting sick.

And of course….Dun dun dun… GRANDMA’S REMEDY!!! That HOT TOTTI baby! Get you some hot tea, with some lemon, honey, mint and a lil bit of whisky. That’ll clear ya azz up. Never really went to the doc for being sick when I was a kid, so it must work. lol. But good luck and I hope you feel bette. But don’t take more than recommended. I doubt 1 more than recommended wouldn’t hurt. But try some real cold medicine.
