I hate to be the wet blanket, but that is a really good way to get yourself decapitated.

Safe after falling out of the car and being splattered all over the highway after being run over by a semi? You’re probably right.

Sounds amazing, but just to make anothernikki feel better, if you’re going to try this, get a convertible - no chance of decapitation! :P

That is dangerous. I guess do it where there’s no other traffic. I dunno. I would not. You can go under an overpath and the driver be too close to the side and knock your whole head off.

Aww, I’m aware it’s dangerous. But no it wasn’t a major highway, and we had slowed down to 30 miles an hour. If you drive out west where I live, there’s nothing but farm land, and considering we were out as late as we were, there’s no one on the roads.

Probably should have included that in there, I would never suggest getting on a major highway and sticking yourself out the car window, at excessive speeds!

Well…good then. You have a ball and be careful, as I’m sure you will. Don’t do that shyt drunk and mess around and lose your balance. But have fun

I Think Everyone Should Try This

A little while ago I went driving with a friend, and we were both feeling so carefree, with the windows down and music blaring. As we got onto the highway I decided to pull myself half way out the window, just to feel the wind…but then I looked up. It was a perfectly clear night, so the stars were visible and the mere exspansion of the sky with all those twinkling lights was breath taking. However the really splendid part is that as the stars streak by and blur together, you can see the curvature of the Earth.
It was a strange feeling that came over me when I truly looked at what I was seeing, it made my life seem so unbelievably real.

you realize you can do the same thing in a convertible or on a motorcycle or something with out the danger right? I realize not everyone has acces to one of those, but maybe just looking out the back window straight up….

Either way, dangerous or not, its one of those wow moments we all need to experience! Of course its good to be sensible :P

I decided to go for a walk in heavy rain a few weeks ago. Not only is it a great feeling; strolling care free in shorts and t-shirt as people dart madly for their cars, wrapped in coats or sporting umbrella’s, giving you the strangest looks. But its also impossible not to feel alive, to feel real, when your being soaked to your skin. Feeling natures rawness, and smiling back at it with all your heart.

Simple pleasures, great effects, I’d recomend it to anyone!

That site is NOTHING compared to the horrible things they showed us in driver’s ed. Scared the h*ll out of me too. That’s good. Keeps us from doing stupid things on the road that cause accidents like that.

Edit: But please DO NOT do this on major highways! I live in an area that should you go west there’s nothing but farmland, and don’t exceed any speed over 30 mph, even going that fast was a tad scary for me!
