Ammount of money Devided by 100 times by 15
A / 100 * 15
There ya go :)
Multiple it by .85
Divide it by 10 and find 10%. Then half that 10% to get 5%. Add that amount together and take it off the amount you had to begin with.
10% = .50
5% = .25
15% = .75
£0.75 = £4.25
£5.oo times .85 also equals £4.25…
Also, A / 100 * 15 does not work.
If it’s paper money, scissors should do it. If it’s coins, you may well need more sophisticated cutting equipment (don’t forget to wear safety gear). Please remember though that once you’ve removed the 15%, it becomes essentially worthless.
Most banks and shops have an ‘all or nothing’ attitude as far as banknotes and coins are concerned. :S
or X divided by 1.15 then push -
or = hehe can’t remember
it works though..
the first one does work.
you just have to add it to the original number.
like (A / 100 * 15) + A
err… subtract it i mean.
yes , 10000/1.15-or = depending on the calculator = 8995.65 before 15%
Does anybody no how to take 15 % out of 1,050 dollars.
the easiest way to so so is to take 10% of it.
make this equal A.
then take half of A, and make this B.
then add A and B together. make this C.
then take your original number, and subtract C. you can likely do all this in your head if you understand it.
