Hm. In the beginning I liked Edward more than Jacob…but, because of Breaking Dawn I now like them both the same. haha.
I don’t think either of them deserve Bella more than the other. But, I’m happy with the way things turn out with Edward getting Bella.

I am still in the middle of reading things, but its hard to say. I keep swaying from one to the other heh.

Jacob would have been better for her. And he suffered more. “to have something halfway is worse than not having it at all.”

but Edward is cool too.

to me, jacob and his reactions were more realistic. Edward was… too self-sacrificing, at least jake tried his hardest to Be with her. edward gave up too easily in new moon.

but like i said, edward is still cool. Butt the question was who suffered moe, thats jake.

Also, they both loved her the same, they just showed it in different ways.

when he gave her up in new moon he took all the pain off of her. he was only trying to save her. you could tell it hurt him sooooo bad.
we only really see it from bella’s point.

as a personal self sacrificer i know the feeling of wanting to take the pain on yourself, rather than hurt someone you love.

What the hell did Jake have to do, he is kind of selfish if u think about it. idk, I just think Edward really loves Bella, and he always will now!

Just wondering, but how was Jacob selfish?
I’m honestly curious…I must not have interpreted it the same way.

ok, think about it. He is always hinting that he loved Bella, and he knows that she loves Edward, so why press the situation. Also, he knew the boundaries between the Cullens and his pack, with the tension between them,and he put Bella in the middle, trying to make her decide. Obviously, he really wasnt looking out for Bella, only for himself.
