After reading a post im curious.

what do you think happens after death?
religious, non religious, or just random opinions are welcome.
its a scarey thing and tbh it makes me feel that if we just die then what was thwe point in anythin gbecause when u die u dont exist you are simply nothing. i hate this view but i cnt help it.
so any opinions on what follows life, or any words that my ease my worries?

I think that when we die we go through a series of trials that review the right and wrong we have done in our lives on earth. When we’ve learned our lessons we move on to heaven. Not Heaven-white clouds and harps… But what we think is heaven.

I think that if it’s not that ^^^^ then our souls get reincarnated. Sometimes into humans. Sometimes into animals. Sometimes into plants. :)

If I get reincarnated I want to be a cat in my second life! :D

im in your predicament as well, but ive began to get into this theory of conciouss energy and that everything is linked by it. Dunno how this effects you after death…

Have you heard of the theory that in the far far future life will have advanced enough to produce a computer that can revive a virtual copy of every living thing to have ever exist. This computer will be designed to travel to higher dimensions and ultimatly live out the end of the universe, my idea of heaven, yes i suppose it is. If you think about it, you will not notice the length of time between your death and your virtual revival so it will seem to be instant…

I cant see any reason at all, to think that I am going to carry on living in a different form, after I have died.
When I die I think that my body will either be burnt, or it will be intered in the earth. Where it will rot and be eaten by the worms and grubs etc.
If this sounds brutal, it isn’t. It is what happens.
Each individual must make up their own mind, as to what they would wish to believe in.
No matter if you believe, in religion or a God, or not. It doesn’t stop a person from trying to do the best they can to do the things they know to be good things

yes but for every other thing in the bible there is a scientific explanation, i’m not saying god doesnt exist rather i’m saying god makes everything happen, for example the darkness plague over egypt was caused by the eruption of a volcano in the mediterainian, what i’m saying is god made the eruption happen to get the skys to darken…

does it matter? If there is a heaven, you go there and live happily forever, if there isn’t you won’t know the difference after you die anyways. Why worry about something you have no control over? Focus on the here and now.

yea, and its the same eruption that caused a tsunami which was interpreted as the ‘parting of the red sea’, although due to translation error, moses actually crossed the sea of reeds which is a marshy area on the mediteranian coast, the sea parting was the water retreating and then when it came crashing back was when pharo got drowned…

interesting, but unfortunately, there is, imo, a 98% chance you won’t find out the answer until you die. the best thing to do is just come to terms with it now, and then instead of fixating on it, concentrate on living :)

my out of body experience was with my grandfather who died when i was 12 years old. at the age of 24 is when this happened.. and he was there to tell me that my dad was dying… and the feeling that i felt was so overwhelming and beautiful.. a place that i can not wait to feel again when i die..

my personal feelings are this.. and again.. im not a huge religious person.. im more spiritual..

i feel that we are already in hell… here on earth.. and we all go to heaven.. but those who acted terribly.. such as murder and such… they are reborn and have to relive here in ‘hell’ until they can do it right… but again.. that is my personal opinion..

well then rest assured that either he’s in a better place, or he’s gone but you saw the best of him when he was alive and lives on through you.

i can also see spirits… so i know for a fact that there is life after death.. also.. it runs in my family.. and one night. my middle child woke up to see my grandfather… again who died when i was 12… she never saw any pictures of him… and didnt know who he was.. but when described to me… it was a perfect fit.. as my grandfather only wore one type of shirt and cap… the color and description was exact.. so again.. with my family, we are able to see spirits and we do believe there is life after death.

i wish for everyone elses sake that there is a place of happiness for everyone, even the ‘evil’ that they are punished but not forever. i dunno that all their evil is taken from them and their good can live on. who knows, but it would just b enice to believe but i don tknow how to. its so stupid.

and thats the thing… its very hard to believe if you have never experienced things… and that is why there are so many non believers… so i completely understand..

i guess i can tell you things.. because i have seen and felt things.. that a lot of people havent.. and that is a special gift that i have…

i too would be sceptical if i didnt see things.. i will invite a couple of people who they too can explain some things for ya as well… not sure if they are on now but they will get back in touch when they can..

I agree that the body will either return to earth or be turned to ash. What about the spirit that lives in each of us. I don’t think we will have the same form as we do now. It may only be energy. If nothing happens how do you explain ghosts?
The promise in the bible that those who believe will not perish but shall dewell in the house of the Lord forever.
I think we all are judged otherwise we would not have judgement day. Just because you have done something bad does not make you a bad person that is going to hell. I do not know how but remember “Those without sin, cast the first stone.” We are all guilty of something bad.
Any way those are my thoughts.

Yes people have experianced things which have led them to belive in certain views, i know cus ive experianced things that i only thought were possible in fiction but i kow what ive seen and others know what they have seen and untill we die we won’t as people know the answeres…

as for speaking to spirits… and such.. i have no control over it.. it happens when it happens or i need to know something.. same with my family members and my 3 children.. i have a thing where i can see things happen long before they happen in real life too.. but again.. i have no control over it.. it just happens.. i also have a voice that tells me things before it happens too.. and its weird.. because where i hear it is.. below my right ear… (in the neck area)… but when it talks.. i have to pay close attention because it is so fast.. that some times i miss what is being said..

i always tell someone who wants to do this.. to relax, clear your mind and just listen to what comes to you… as for loved ones… talk to them, let them know you are open to communication… and relax and wait.. little sounds, sometimes a certain smell of that particular person will appear… keep your mind open… and dont doubt things…

my belief is that when you die, you die, nothing in the universe can be removed from the universe but you become part of the earth through burial or cremation. i think the part of me that is me, is my brain and when i die my brain dies with me. being agnostic or atheist doesn’t make you a bad person, in fact there are definite proofs that atheists actually have more consideration for life on this planet because of their belief that it’s a one time shot. having said that, i’d love to have the faith that i see other people having, that there’s more to the universe than this one life, i just have too many conscious doubts about all that and therefore am agnostic rather than out and out atheist…

Agnostic - The lack of knowledge. Atheism is denial of creation. If I am created, I must have a purpose - For all things created have a purpose. I am sure if you look to kindness with the heart of humility - You will find GOD. I believe in GOD Almighty. What you seek is what you will find - For those who seek always find what they are looking for. If that is GOD - then GOD you will find. If you are looking for atheism - then atheism you will find. = You always find what you are looking for. The truth is a sharp double-edged sword!
