saw a star that looked like you,
It shun so brightly, although the night,
It fell to earth with a rose in hand,
& Gave you a teddy bear to be your man,
The words that flew with it, I seemed to like,
Although what it says, I can not tell.
But once that teddy bear spoke…
It said…
I…
Love…
You…
Which was
So True…

Looked out at the sky to enjoy the view
and i saw a star that looked like you
Shining so bright
All through the night
it landed on earth with a rose in hand
and gave you a teddy bear to be your man
i liked the words that flew with it
words that till then were kept secret
But that silence quickly broke
As soon as that teddy bear spoke
That teddy bear said I love you
And i want you to know…it’s so true
