You know, MTV use to be quiet good a few years ago, they had much better shows on. Now the only thing that really comes on are them stupit reality shows that nobody with common sense looks at. Some are alright like “Juvies” and that new show called “Exile” looks decent, but for the most part, they are mostly garbage.
You can use parental block and shield her from Music Television badness. Though…she will hate you for a while. MTV is pop culture and teens need to keep up with culture in order to “fit in”.
I feel the EXACT same way! Whenever my lil sis turns it on I used to ask her “Why in the **** would you watch this ****? Its unintelligent, demeaning to women, demeaning to minorities, and its just retarded.” She would always flip her **** and start screaming at me to shut up. Now I just get out of the room whenever shes watching that crap.

MTV has changed from what I remember as a teen. I remember when MTV was only music video and now there are these reality (well not really reality) television shows. Sometimes I can’t believe people actually try to live through these dramas vicariously. MTV used to be the same thing VH1 is now… just music t.v.

I don’t hate MTV, but I think it needs to change its name since it really doesn’t actually ever play any music - its all documentaries and stuff!

They play music. From…4:30am-6:30am I believe. And there’s (what is it?) the top 10 or something show…Can’t remember really. And in between shows and commercials they have snippets of MuVids. They play music during the shows :)
