Because the smell of urine permeates the bathroom/house. And a bowl of urine inside a house is just disgusting IMO.
I agree with Chameleon. Plus the germs and stuff dont stay in the bowl.
During the night, it is better not to flush if it is just a wee, to avoid waking the household and to preserve water. If the toilet is cleaned properly and regularly, germs should not be a problem.
If you’re not going to flush it, at least shut the lid.
If there is no lid, you’d better flush to keep the germs in (if I’m not mistaken).
it’s cleaned every day! and i have this thing that stays in there so it doesn’t smell.(you know those bowl clips that clean it everytime its flushed?)
i can never smell my pee.

yes mam, i shut the lid… how do germs spread from urine anyway? it never sits there for more than 2 hours. five people– one bathroom- it’s used a lot! hence why i just leave my urine in the bowl!! it will be flushed soon by someone within the hour so…

I live with 4 “men” and I often enter the bathroom to find someone else’s nasty urine in the bowl. I hate it. It’s disgusting at least to the people that don’t own the urine! :P
Sounds reasonable. All attempts at hygiene have been taken. Sounds like it is just saving water. With the disinfectant in the bowl, and the lod down it just seems sensible.

yeah i suppose its just an opinion thing. my friends and mother think it’s disgusting and always get on me about it! i see nothing wrong with it…ty for the opinion lol

if is yellow…let it mellow(if its pee let it be) if its brown flush it down.
if its just pee…its fine…just put the lid down…your saving water and germs are everywhere so just spray a little lysol and move on with ur life. your fine.

ick… i find that when my step son doesnt flush after he uses the toilet.. it smells very badly.. rather than using this one thing to be environmentally efficient, find something else you can save on… to help your cause…
in April i was in hospital for over 2 Weeks and they gave me a Bottle to pee in, i tell you there is no lid on the bottle and it really stinks no always flush even if it is only a short flush .My opinion has got nothing to do with being green….
i live alone so i only flush a few times a day…i clean my bowl at least once a week with comet and i have no problems…there is a contained amount of water in the world, so plz conserve where u can…

Either way flushing or not flushing you get germs, it’s better to close the lid and then flush to keep all germs away, the coldness of the water running around the bowl kill all the germs, just simply closing the lid will not help as the germs and “crawl” out, closing the lid before flushing insure the germs aren’t “thrown” about the bathroom landing on your hair brushes, tooth brushes and more, 1 way you could limit the water is to turn down the amount of water released back into your toilet but not flushing is gross in more than 1 way.

Nasty as hell. You don’t trust God to keep His creation by not flushing?! Flush!
Eat asperagus then leave your pee sit. Pity the person that goes to take a dump in that pee and his log drops in the water causing it to splash right back up his open butt hole
