Hmm well your reply went right over my head…

You said that was important in your post but I don’t get what is, there is always going to be a site doing better somewhere.

Sooooo basically you’re saying, it’s in the name? This one took off because it’s called HELP and it actually helps people? You’re saying for sites to be successful, they should be named after what the represent? People are more inclined to look into a site called help.com or shoes.com because it’s more specific in the name?

yeah thats true, I mean if people want to buy new shoes then they type in shoes not laces or insoles..
Same with help I suppose, yet that can be more specific like typeing in depression or anger etc

Never really looked at it that way. Actually never really knew what the net and org and stuff were for. Now it makes more sense as to why certain websites have org and net. Like Gov.org, for governement orgianizations. Makes sense. Interesting.

hmm… — well this post is not called “20 Questions”, so if you’re talking about something other than the “Wisdom of the Language” (or the fact that it’s “Coming Up”), then please consider using the ShoutBox (or perhaps starting a new post?)

Thanks! :)
