I have trouble making friends online

I’ve had an account on LiveJournal for years now, and I have good amount of friends on it. I comment on as many entries of theirs as I can, but I never seem to get any comments on my entries, maybe one or two. I tried asking for more friends with a simple post but that amounted to nothing. And yet when my friends do that, they get loads of people adding them, who comment a lot. I’m not asking for anyone specific, I just say who I am, where I’m from and that I comment a lot. What am I doing wrong?

I am not that familiar with online bloging..I just joined this website a few minutes ago…maybe you should let them know a little more about yourself, and if you cant think of anything to say make stuff up..say you glow in the dark and can use your antennas to predict the chances of percipitaion in Zimbabwae. That might break the ice and get some attention.

Alright now, you got to be careful with some of that stuff. I hope your not giving away too much information now. You got to be careful with some of those people thay you meet online like that. Not sure who they are or what they really look like in real life.

oh for goodness sake how many of these people do you actually see in the flesh?
who are your real friends because those are the only ones that matter don’t get worked up over how many friends you have on live journal or how often they post becouse simple fact is they don’t matter!
