You could probably find a used one for that. Check classifieds or craigslist.org

all i can suggest is keep a eye on classified papers, and ebay - its a fluid market, so you never know whats going to turn up…

oh, there is a old maxim here though - but cheap, buy twice… - but i know what its like when you are short :/

You just don’t get anything made by apple mac anywhere new that is cheap, it’s always about the same price everywhere. Other peeps are right about saying used ones on ebay and other places, but you might be lucky and find a new one on Ebay that somebody bought and doesn’t want any more.
