Try not to act nervous even if you are and try and just act like you usually do, you’ll make more friends quicker than you think! Oh and if you have trouble and have to ask older students, ask the girls, they’re generally nicer!

Yea i meant to ask this earlier but whats the point of starting school on a Thursday? You only have 2 days of school which in my opinion is a waste of two days… I mean what can you possibly do in two days other than meet your teachers and classmates…

Well im guessing your school su*ks because when i was in high school none of the seniors bothered me. I actually got along better with upperclassmen than my own peers

be cool with your teachers. I’m not sayin to be a kissass but it can come in handy if you ever need some extra points or somethin

try not to be TOO nervous,
first impressions count!
make a lot of new friends,
dont get on a seniors bad side!
try not get on a teachers bad side!(it will be hell of a class if your teacher hates you/ vice versa)
dont do drugs!
first day goes by pretty quickly actually so dont over think it

don’t be a hater. be nice to people who are nice to you, simply ignore those who aren’t. always keep in mind that high school doesn’t matter. don’t get too caught up in your social life- but make sure to have fun! it’s more important than your school work sometimes- because in the end it’s not about how many A’s you got- but the memories and the person you created of yourself. if you start to party- start small and wait until you feel alcohol before binging out and drinking toooo much. don’t get caught up with people you can’t be yourself around. try new things. keep an open mind. make friends with a bunch of different kids, but have solid friends too.

Class of ‘11!! Where I live we have so many kids that freshmans are actually kept in the middle schools, so I’m a sophomore and going to my first year in high school! Haha.

well…loosen those staps on your backpack a little, dont use a lanyard to hold your keys (if u hav them), mess up your hair a little, dont brag about how awesome you are doing whatever you do, dont try to be friends with everyone
be somewhat studious

most importantly
make friends with all the girls

as a sophomore I’d like to say that the first days are hall for freshmen good luck if there is a freshmen Friday and try to act like a grade above and every thing will be better

actually i got decided a apply for a technical highschool instead of the more popular standard highschool so its less of the kids i knew in 8th grade their :P

Oh sorry I thought you were going to a regular high school. But that makes it even better because most of the kids will have the same interest as you do!

You never asked if it was easy, you just asked for some tips… If you asked how hard it was going to be everybody would have said it is nothing for the first few weeks, at least…

haha, high school. freshman year was the easiest, it was easier than middle school for me, but it’ll get harder.

tests/exams are easy finales are impossible

I think they are all easy. :P It’s just boring and hard to keep focus.

really the most important thing is not to care what others think of you. just remember your awesome no matter what.
