Hotmail is internet based email. When you view an email it is sitting on another computer, not downloaded to your own. When you delete it, it gets deleted from the other computer. Nothing you can do to get it back. Sorry.

I thought I lost mine too because I did the same thing. I deleted some emails and folders that I was sorry I did. I was suprised to find out though, that when I went to my email through Windows Live (that you can open up through the email tab in msn messenger) they were still there! So if you have msn messenger, try to open up your email icon on that and you might just find a nice suprise.

Not true at all, most emails once they are “deleted” from the delete box in Msn Hotmail, are not permanently gone, there’s a “recover deleted emails” where you can click below, you click that, and it will try to recover every email from about the last 3 days that you deliberately or accidently deleted, you then “mark” and “select” all emails as “move to inbox.” You then have all your “deleted” emails now in your Inbox, as if they were never really gone. Try it, email me and tell me the results, outcome ok.
