Ireland-1 Leaving?

Hello,
I am just writing in to say that I read in my newspaper that it has been predicted that Kilkenny will be hit by an Earthquake at any moment (supposed to happen before the end of December at anytime, OK so if you a) don’t see me around in a 24 hours or b) I have no activity for 24 hours then presume that we have been struck and that their is repairs that needs to be done to the PC and to the broadband in my area.

Sorry not trying to be over dramatic.

earthquake prediction is a farse. No one can predict the outcome.
you can of coarse say that eventually it will happen.
but when no can’t be done.

also now one knows the magnitude and location.
these totally determine the damage levels.

Hello,
It is me (Ireland-1) but this prediction is believable, this person predicted that Bertie Ahern was going to resign and he did, another thing was a fight between the pop and the Muslims and it happened and finally a shooting in a school over bullying and it happened

yes those human-based things can be predicted by someone who’s in touch.
But earthquakes are controlled by devas or fairies if you like.
They are not readily accessible to humans being able to interpret what they’re going to do. It’s very complex from our point of view.

Many earthquakes are caused by nuclear testing.
These disturb the normal operation of the divas.

We had one here where I live in England about four to six years ago. It’s epicenter was in Dudley.
One early morning, The earth shook a few times tilted towards the west shook a couple more times and that was it. I remember being annoyed because it woke me up.
The only damage it did was structual damage in about a thirty mile radius area. So dont get to upset about it. The UK doesn’t usually get noticable ones, although it does get many minor ones.

God of heaven and earth, God who carries our lives in his hands, I ask you to be with Ireland and his community in the peril of this day/night. Help them to release their anxieties and fears into those same caring hands, knowing in faith that your will for them is life and everlasting good. Send your holy angels to watch over them and guard them. May they spread their holy wings to give them shelter against the storm. For you alone, O God, are all good, all life, all love, and that love is for us; through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Ah! Don’t believe everything you read or hear. Look at your sources and look up more than one opinion on this person making the predictions. Superstition doesn’t always pan out.

We had a major earthquake in my area back in 1989… it was quite scary - lives were lost and property destroyed including the many of the structures in my home area. Really nobody predicted it was going to take place on Oct. 17 1989. I am sure many folks would come forward with such claims, but realistically earthquakes are not easily predicted. It may be that they can be expected from time to time as the earth’s plates shift around the globe, but exact dates and times are unrealistic at this point until science finds top knotch methods to properly examine, understand, monitor and ultimately predict them.

Don’t let the negativity or fear get you down or ruin your day Ireland-1. :)

Hey you’re putting words in my mouth there Ireland. I actually DO believe in some psychics - like one in particular I’ve read about that works with the police to help them solve crimes. I think most people that call themselves psychics are fakes though.
But I wasn’t dissing psychics in my comment about you making your own prediction - I was just saying if you’re right you’ll be on a winning streak too!

I admit it is a bit scary, but you have to put it in pserspective. I’m a bit ahsamed to admit it would have me nervous, but you also can’t live your life in fear. Make sensible preparations and get on with your life.

First of all, the likelihood of an earthquake in kilkenny is…..almost 0%? Based on our location near fault lines and the like, it is pretty much impossible. There is no reason for an earthquake to happen in Ireland. And as for predicting it, that’s a load of crap. No offense. She might have well predicted that pigs would fly. It’s not going to happen in your lifetime, or your childrens, or your grandchildrens, etc etc etc

Still, I don’t believe one iota of that!!! I studied geography in college, (only for a bit mind you, nothing major or anything) and my lecturer laughed at the idea of there being an earthquake in Ireland. But I am only going by what he said, so it could be wrong. Plus, no one can predict anything for sure. I am supposedly ‘psychic’ and I am the first person to admit that I never know for sure. So far I have been right every time, but I know that there is a time I could very well be wrong. Equally, she may be using that status to freak people out by coming up with something totally untrue.
