I just want to relax and be myself.

Whenever I talk to to someone or speak in a large group of people I studder, words don’t come out right, I can’t explain anything, and then I just look like an idiot. I want to be able to talk to people and not have this problem. I had a job interview today and I dont think I got it because of how weird I sounded. Help….please….any suggestions?!

Im like that. I think its a confidence issue. I guess you build it by talking more in front of large groups of people but im not sure.

Nerves really can do a number on us can’t they?
I’m the same way around people. I have a social phobia. Have you looked into seeing a doctor and checking for a similar diagnosis? There are treatment options.

Look proffesional, dress up I mean, look the person you talk to in the eye and awnser with good awnsers when you get asked a question. Try not to be nervous because that can make it worse. Overral, just try to do your best.

I think it’s both a confidence issue and a matter of personality. I mean if you’re naturally introverted social situations are always going to be a little nerve-wracking. I’m that way, and usually all the anticipatory anxiety of being in a social arena destroys any chance of me seeming confident. However, I typically “fake it” until I feel at ease. Think of it as acting.

i have the same problem and im only 14. its so bad i cant i say something hundreds of times in my head before saying it and then it just comes out wrong.then i get more nervous. i cant even talk to my own girlfriend.this problem is basically ruining my life.i dont kno what to do anymore.
