Weed is the same thing as being drunk and smoking cigs. To me, its safer to be high than it is to be drunk. But cigs are stupid. They are bad for you and there is barely any benifit. It doesnt make any sense. So if the gov’t is making money off of Tobacco, they should be regulating weed and making money off of that. It would only make sense.

it would make sense, but the government only regulates tobacco and alcohol because they were popularized before weed. They dont want to add more bad stuff, they just dont want the economy to be hurt by taking away bad stuff.

But that stuff isn’t bad, its just badly regulated. I mean the economy would be so much better when its in circulation, Other countries have this, and lower drinking ages, etc. and our country sucks so much, maybe, just maybe it could help. Make it all less taboo, make it all work out. Lowering the drinking age and legalizing pot would be a great thing for our country. I think it could help, if it weren’t so taboo, making kids want to try it, by making them not able to do it.

i just said “bad stuff” cause i didnt know what term i should use to refer to both drugs and alcohol. but yeah i kind of agree… my parents give me alcohol sometimes (its legal to if ur in a private residence and under parental supervision in california) so its not a big deal to me. And they give me good stuff so i think beer tastes cheap lol.
but then again i dont know, cause i was raised in a pretty conservative community with lots of anti-drug education, so i would never even touch pot. but i dont think it usually works that way, cause a TON of the kids in my community are major stoners. So i think overall, what you said would probably work..

those children lost a huge difference in their life..

cigarrettes are totally stupid and a criminal act by selling them.

they put substances that make people addict to them just for the people to keep buying them and making more money.

so money is better than life now?

i think its all absurd, and instead of having laws about it, people should just be smart enough to not do that stuff.

or at least do it in moderation.

what about lung cancer and second hand smoke getting to little kids? duh.

that’s why you have public bans to prevent you from bothering other people.

yeah but its not fair if a little kid is raised in a house with two smokers and has to get their second hand smoke.

then lawmakers should label that child abuse.

however, smoking in itself is not a criminal action.

people know what they are doing when they light up a cigarrette. there are a countless number of organizations and support groups for people who are serious about quitting. if it’s possible for people to quit cocaine and heroine, then you can’t tell me that innocent people who want to quit smoking have no choice in the matter.

no matter how many law you make, petitions you write, or protests you rally, you will NEVER be able to cure mankind of his addiction to self-destruction.

Cigarrettes are legal because it’s always been a cash crop. To outlaw tobacco would negatively affect the country’s economy.
