Here’s my problem, My arm muscels are really puny.

I’m very active I’m very in shape I have rock solid abs but, when I try to do push-ups I can only do like 5 good ones then I can’t do any more. It doesn’t burn or anything like it burns when I do 200 crunches without stoping. It’s just I can’t make myself do it. I go down and can’t come back up. So how am I suposed to build up my arm strength?

Maybe without push ups…they aren’t for women anyway….do light weight lifting first

Take up parkour. It improves upper body strength immensely.

do your 5 pushups, or however many you can do, then stop. when you regain your strength do 5 more.

When you are on the computer or watching TV, after every reply or during all the comercials do a pushup or two. it will take a while, but slowly you will be able to do more and more.

You have to build yourself up to it. It’s not uncommon for younger women to lack the upper body strength to do many pushups.

Do the 5 push-ups every other day. Soon it’ll be 7, then 10, then 15, etc.
Or try light dumbells - lie on your back and push them up as many times as you can. Increase the weight every week or two.

NP, I’ve been doing it for three years, and while your arms only grow a little, you get really used to supporting your own bodyweight on your arms.
