Yes. Of course that is a hell of a lot harder to beleive if you are a creationist. The TRUTH is that a God spoke this word into being and he knows you and shaped you and knew every day that you will ever live while you were still being formed inside your mum. There is another force that wants to be involved in our world more, we have to let him.

But what EXACTLY are you talking about, as in a specific event or life question?

Order or chaos? It is an age old question. But nice guys and nice girls often finish last because they go after losers instead of each other. It is human nature to want what you cannot have. The only way to finish first is to alter your priorities. Wether there is a plan or not to a large extent you are in charge of your destiny. Even creationist believe that God gave us free will.

Hang on… i said the wrong one!!! i meant evolutionist. That the world exploded and the chaotic data somehow formed mata that was able to evolve. Strange when you look at the world and it is decomposing, whereas we’re told by evolutionists that it is adapting and growing.

Ah sorry I’m so late to reply back. I just don’t know why we would be told we have freedom, when really it’s only so limited. It never made any sense to me, so I choose to believe that some big master plan doesn’t exist.

Well… that theory really definately… does not make sense. So you can’t beleive we have freedom because its so limited and so instead you beleive that there is nothing in control? But wouldn’t that mean that there IS freedom. But you just said that its limited.

I think it does. But I don’t think it’s all part of a master plan, or fate. I think things happen for a reason, and that reason only comes into affect when you accept it, and take it on board.

Very politically correct answer. I’ll let you take that one up with God when you get there.

I never said God had nothing to do with it. In fact most of my answer was pretty much describing free will.

It’s like this: you’re given opportunities from events that happen, but whether you USE those opportunities in whichever way, will be the outcome or the result. Almost like a chain reaction branching out into several different directions of choice.

You are confusing me a bit now. God has his own justice system in which he repays sin with an equal inequity. Its pretty annoying really, if you’re the sinner I mean. But the only reason that the dude who did a crime is being fed is because that’s the way the governing judicial system works. With God, sin will receive its justice. But don’t confuse it, there’s plenty of grace and mercy too. With God, not with the judiscial system.

Nice guys don’t finish last. Nice has nothing to do with when you finish. Determination and Drive are what determine when you finish. A nice guy with a lot of determination and drive will finish just as fast as the bad guy with the same determination and drive.

The problem is a lot of “Nice” guys lack determination and drive. They are more timid by nature and reserved. It is those traits that are causing them to finish last, not their niceness.

There is alot to be said about the power of the human will. Truly you can do anything you set your mind to. Anything physically possible of a human of course. Flying is out the window as a bad idea

I think the point about freedom was that the words *is* evolving and growing. Look around, not much is the same from say 50 years ago. And 50 years is only the blink of an eye compared to the life of the universe.

As for a master plan, I think its a very interesting concept. I personally find it very limiting. If there is a plan set out for us, we are never truly free. This is regardless of my belief or not in a God.
I believe in fate of a sort, that many things are out of our control. That is simply because everyone has free will, so every decision made by *everyone* has an effect. The guy who decided to design and build a bridge you use daily, or the guy who decided speeding down that country lane was a wise move. We effect each others life, to varying degree’s. So not everything is down to our personal actions.

As for nice guys finishing last, I don’t think thats quite true. Because when they find happiness, it’s real, and lasting, and so ultimately will live a better life for it. It might take longer, and the “bad guys” seem to get a head start, but the proverbial good guy will always win.

As the saying goes, slow and steady wins the race =)

I choose to believe in everything happening for a reason. Why might you ask? Well I formed my decision based on my own life experiences and saw the way things sort of worked themselves out in a strange sort of way. I also believe that by thinking, doing, or saying negative things, negative things will happen, so it’s important to always be positive… These two sort of go hand in hand. For example, if something bad were to happen, think well “it must have happened for a reason” some inexplicable cosmic reason, and usually it does! But really if you’re a pessimist, you’ll more than likely miss that reason. Hard to explain… just stay positive!

Nice guys don’t always finish last by the way. Always stay hopeful, because us nice girls are out there! You just haven’t found yours yet. Think of how amazing it will be though when you finally do find her, and how much you’ll appreciate her after having so many “bad” experiences! :)

Nice guys finish last because of one reason. Women no matter what they tell you hate nice guys. The Media has drilled the idea of the nice guy into men’s heads. which stinks. To be liked you need to have confidence. Assholes get layed but don’t have good relationships. wimpy nice guys don’t get layed at all! . don’t be an *** hole and don’t be a wimp. find the middle ground. a good guy (BEST) is funny confident love him self. I You ever want to have a relationship you need to work on your self first.
Desperation has a stench that is awful. You need to learn how to live alone and be happy. and if your lonely get a dog.

And just remember that you cant be afraid of women because you put too much power in them and all thats worth over you is something the size of the space of a quarter take out a quarter and look at next time you see a girl you want to talk to
