please help-itunes wont open-a box comes up that states “Quick time failed to initiate, quickmtime is reqiured to run itunes”

i have tried to reinstall with new version and even restored my computer ro an earlier time. any ideas? thanks dave

This happened to me and all I needed to do was install Quicktime. If you’ve already done this then, sorry, I have no idea.
