I got mine today too but I didn’t do well at all. I was predicted similar grades to the ones you got, but because of how the past year went down for me, I was unable to get the grades :/
:( sorry to hear that i guess i shouldnt be such a winger about mine! dont worry you can always retake them and GCSE’s aren’t as important as people make them out to be. A LEVELS are more important!

im only dissapointed with art, cos it swhat i was the best at out of the whole year yet i didnt get that good a grade. but i suppose its not juist about skill in art anyway.

A lot of my friends were dissappointed with their art grades and I saw some of the people’s work who got an A* and they didn’t deserve it as much as some people who got lower grades who were better? It seems that art teachers are biased.
So what are you going to take for A levels then?

yeah thats what alot of people said miss minnie, i think it must just be something to do with what work u vary, not the sill level. pretty gay if you ask me! your grades are excellent well done. And thanks about history i was truely shocked, i would love to have seen if i could of got the A* i got in my mock in history if i had been in my right state of mind! and im taking Art Photography Film STudies and History, everything i love so that should be great fun! and you?

My GCSE grades were just about as similar as yours, don’t worry about the Art, I got a B in French even though it was one of my best subjects throughout school - I completely messed up the speaking xD And actually I didn’t do too well on the rest of that exam either.. But hey.
Now this is what shocked me, an A in Geography?! HOW THE HELL did I do that?! Then a B in Latin. Both of which, were two subjects I struggled with constantly.
An A in History is hard to get, you must have worked so hard to get these grades, well done!
Be proud of those grades, seriously, they’re amazing!
A levels will be even MORE fun. ¬_¬ Hah, yeah. Anyways, good luck :]

i didnt revise the poems atall, i cant belive the amount of them we had to do, i just couldn’t be botherd…
Nahh we did them each over about three times over and over in class. Some of them I did love though, Sonnet 130, Anne Hathaway and Salome were my favourites. That sounds really geeky, but hey :)

Its so annnoying isnt it? Its like what ive been blessed in, talent wise, and she claims that because i always drew portraits i got a B becaus emy teacher marked my exam, because it wasnt chosen by the examiners. Its so anoying i obviously showed skill, hard work, creativity and determination, and what is art about if it isnt that?!

i got an A in art, aparently it was 1 mark of A* which was one hell of a surprise when i got told that, i’m not gutted atall though, i got my A*. Not many people can say they got an A*, a U and managed to get into the sixthform they wanted to go to…
