Do you have to confirm who you are?

What i mean is…..
I am a 15 year old girl, from Newcastle, Uk

i mean do you have to say, yes am gay or yes am bisexual.
Before i came out as bi people were saying, “You will have to make a choice soon”
Why??
Yes i come out as bi but is it really necessary to brand yourself?

You don’t have to tell them anything - “gay” “straight” and “bi” are just labels people like to use to make themselves feel more comfortable. Personally I don’t bother with them.
