Where were you?

Gosh they are all history and religion. I am pants at them, therefore I do not understand the jokes. I feel so ignorant :(
Ahhh I read some from the other links and they were more funny to me, I might have even had a small chuckle to myself :)
My (horrible) father once told me about one exam paper he read when he was adding up the marks when he was younger. The question was about ww2 and what the causes were. The answer the pupil gave was: The Germans started it.

the real cause of the second world war is complex.
But simplified it was the continuation of the Battle of Armageddon
which started in 1914 and was a continuous war up to the end in 1945.
Hitler represented the Antichrist.
He used mass hypnosis on the German people. This was effective
because of their high intelligence. High intelligence people are more
susceptible to hypnosis.
Hitler was a deeply evil man. Fortunately the war ended.
We are now entering ,as the song says, the age of Aquarius.
The age of sympathy and understanding.
Entering any new age is always rough. But we will succeed.
The balance of the forces of darkness and light was in 1966.
The forces of light are now stronger and are continuing to get stronger.
The world will soon enter into a phase of development
the likes of which we cannot imagine. Very pleasant.
I hope that means more happy, contented and tollerent people.
So do I, but it was still a funny answer considering it was an essay question.

Yes it definitely means that.
But it also means that each person on the planet will have about $5,000
per month income compared to what they have now.
All this because of a simple invention “cold fusion”
I wish I understood what you were talking about spiratec9… I shall toddle off and research.
Ken,
No it’s for all of us. We need a laugh and joke occasionally.
Thanks spiratec9.
Wont this mean that everything we buy will skyrockit in price? Surley it’s human nature for this to happen.
Miss Minnie.
Dont worry about the meaning, Its not important. What is going to happen, will happen as and when it does.
Do you like my fatalistic attitude?
no not skyrocket.
As one physicist said he doesn’t believe “cold fusion” works
but if it did it would be the first time in history that nature gave us
a free lunch.
Well surprise we’re entering the age where we will have “a free lunch”

I’m not sure if I do like fatalistic attitudes, I’m not sure if I believe in fate, but then again I do because things have got to turn out some way and who’s to say that the way things turned out weren’t the way they were meant to. (scratches head)
But again sorry I don’t think that was particularly on topic but I was answering you :)
I look at those exam questions. And they are all unbelievable.
They remind me of modern instruction manuals. They’re the pits.
It reminds me of a question I had an English exam.
The question was “what made Charles Dickens such a famous author”
I replied “if I truly new what made Charles Dickens such a famous author
I would be a famous author”
I think it might be because a lot of people read his books.
Actually, contary to popular opinion, Mr dicken’s books had very little to do with his works… it was all in the look

Incidentally, I didn’t have the energy to think of witty answers during my exams so I spent my time studying the grafitti on the desks, some of which was quite amusing.
Class of 08 rulez to an extent I guess
My favourite exam graffit this year was “Give up now, you’ll lose in the end.”. It was such an encouraging thought.
My second favourite was “Home ec is a piece of p*ss”
Mr Foot.
Oh yes, that would make a good post. The grafitti on school desks.
Miss Minnie.
That encouraging thought is a clasic
I know! There was so much fun stuff to read once I’d finished my exams. Everybody hated exam period. I loved it, an exam every few days and in between all you needed to do was revision whilst sitting at home in the sun. And no homework! I wish it was exam period again, it’s way better than holidays.
Miss Minnie.
Where in this country is it that the sun shines? And if it does, long enough to sit out in it?
I do recall a certain peace and serenity in that hall, also a delightful sense of unity
Where I live Theppy of course! Midlands somewhere, you guess :)
The sun shone all the way through my exam period, and yet it rained on my prom night so my pretty shoes were ruined :( And then it mildly drizzles all summer. But yeah it was sunny were I was, I remember straining to see my chemistry revision notes in the glare of the sun :)
Yeah it is quite nice everybody sat all together in peace for such a long time.
Where is Mitzy? I don’t know her, but I don’t see her!
Look at the reply directley above my reply^. You sould see Mitzy there. She is on my screen any way.
Oh my she has suddenly appeared! But your reply was there before she was? Magic I say, or fairies.
Nah, I just pasted it there when you weren’t looking.
Mr foot.
Is it painful, when you use your nunchucks improperly?
I have forgoten what this post is all about. At least it’s sort of friendly though.
