I’ve been having back pain.
Since Around July 4th.
=S
my mom took me to the doctor back in July and they did 2 X-rays.
Nothing is wrong with my back, is what they said.
But it still hurts.
Lower part of the back.
*I do NOT have scoliosis.
My mom said it was because I don’t move that much.
But when I move or sit, it still hurts either way.
Sometimes I can’t lay down because it hurts and is uncomfortable. It’s like a sharp jab.
My mom doesn’t really care about it anymore. Or Me, for that matter.
She yells and screams at me for not helping around the house. I don’t help or do anything because she yells and screams more than I’m not doing it and I’m in the way.
She just tells me to take some Tylenol.
It doesn’t help.
I take the one for adults.
Nothing.
I don’t feel any better.
Anyone know what could be wrong with me, or any advice?

Also, I haven’t lifted anything really remotely heavy. Or had any bad falls or such.
Also, about a year ago, I had the same thing.
I went away later. But now it just won’t go away.
Even right now, when I’m writing this, it has a sharp hurting pain.

yeah, try sleeping differently, especially if you fall asleep on your side, that often hurts my back. it they took xrays it cant be very serious, try stretching. lay on your stomech and push up with your arms while keeping your legs and hips on the ground, it will really stretch out your back. then, lay on your stomech, take one leg and move it over your back to the other side of your body, while keeping your shoulders parallel to the ground.

I’ve had the same mattress for quite sometime. I don’t see why it would bother me a year ago.
My mom wouldn’t buy me a new mattress. She’s not like that. She still thinks I don’t have anxiety attacks.
they only way I’d get a new mattress was if I set it on fire.
hmmmm. i dont remember suggesting to buy a new mattress…setting it on fire would be fun though :) ….
PLS PLS PLS DONT TAKE TYLENOL.alrite i suffer from arthritrus what i hav found that helps(from time 2 time),. Is a pressup but with a difference instead of lifting your body straight like a normal pressup (or an ironing board is!!!!)leave your groin area on the floor & stretch out ur lower back muscles, DONT go over what YOU are cofortablec with, rthis does relieve me SOME of the time best of luck.
if u set it on fire? kinda over the top lol how about spill paint on it is there any where else in the house you can sleep? if not then just sleep on your side or your tummy XD

I sleep on my stomach. Like all the time.
She’d just curse at me profoundly and probably hit me.
She’s threatened to before.
I don’t mean to sound really harsh, but I do hate her.
Really.
As of right now, she’s angry at my dad and she’s taking it out on my brother.
She came home from a hard days work. * work with her on Firdays with all her hours as well. Friday is the busiest day. today’s Saturday, they’d be slow.
She has heal Spurs and complains about it.
=S
Did your doctor do any other tests besides the xrays? There are other things that can cause back pain besides problems with your spine.
Rest till the pain subsides; when it does, start YOGA to strengthen your back muscles.
I have had lower back issues for several years since I was a kid. I have tried all types of medicines and painkillers they make little or no difference and its just treating the symptoms. Since I started Yoga regularly for almost 5 years now, I remember very few times when I had pain.
Stress and anxiety also causes back-pain. Managing stress will help tremendously. Stress manifests in different ways usually in harmful ways.
I also got myself a Tempur Pedic mattress and I sleep better. If buying a new mattress is not an option, see if you can get a mattress topper with tempur pedic memory cells, you may find those more economical.
Healthy lifestyle and regular sleep, that is how you can fight pain.
Good luck.

No. Not really.
But I did find out I also have high blood pressure.
Probably still do.

you sound like this is a problem with your mom, not your back.
Both.

Ha. I don’t think my mom would go for that. I’m kind of.. not skinny? So I don’t know how that would work out. Stress… ahh. I think I do suffer from GAD most likely.. (Generalized Anxiety Disorder).
How much would it cost?
If you are a member of COSTCo about 50-100 $ for mattress toppers. I paid 500 Tempur Pedic mattress.
Weight can also cause your back-pain. There are several breathing techniques you could try out for reducing anxiety and stress. This website may be helpful http://www.abc-of-yoga.com/pranayama/

My mom doesn’t even like it when she spends over $50. At all.
I’m not that fat.
Just like slightly above “normal”.
I have asthma, also.
Oh Great.
Now she’s b*tching that I have no life, how I’m on here all the time.
Because I am. So? Maybe I just like computers, programming, talking to people and Myspace.
it’s not my fault she’s not from the US and her life sucks.
She’s threatening me to get off saying that she’s cut the internet off.
Oh?
yeah.
*sarcasm* Yeah. I care SO much. My life really depends on it.
Gah.
I swear on of these days, I don’t care what reason, I’d call child Services on myself.
Just to get a good old break.
To bad my guardian mother is on vacation.
But she speaks hardly any English. No help there.
Well that’s good if you are not overweight.
I recommend drinking pomegranate juice, orange juice and ground flax seeds (you can sprinkle it over your cereals and yogurt etc) to keep your blood pressure in check.
Research as much as you can on Asthma, take control of your life. Only you can make things better.
As for your mom, send her silent love and prayers. You will notice the difference. She is doing the best she can. Someday you may be in her shoes and understand why.

:) Ill try that.
I’m religious, but not that religious.
I forget things a lot also. =S Like way to many “blond moments” that last.

.ashleyyy =] Life is complicated. What makes you think calling child Services will make things better? It could be worse. They say, be careful what you wish for, you may just get it! One day she will not be around and you would give anything to have her in your life. Cherish what you have, help her, she is hurting just like you are.
You don’t have to be religious to pray. In fact religion has nothing to do with it. :-) I am not religious either.

True. Very true.
I must go now, before she comes downstairs and unleashes Pandora’s Box.

Goodnight.
sweet dreams
I am back.
=S
My back still hurts.
I slept on my stomach.
=SSSS
you need to do a gentle set of stretching exercises.
also is a good idea to try and sleep on your back or your side.
this loads the back differently At night.
put your knees up like this –/\-o .
if you are sleeping on your side place a pillow between your legs.
Don’t do situps.
your mum actually sounds just like my mum.
i cant be up late or on the computer, or she also threatens to cut the internet which i pay for. she also has “hard” days at work which are actually really really easy, and takes it out on whoever gets in her way. she doesnt connect with me at all, and as harsh as it sounds, i also hate her. i dont know who she is anymore.
one other wierd thing, i have had horrible back pain for a good 2 years now, although mines in my upper back. i think it might be something to do with my posture? maybe yours is too?
sorry i didnt really help much, i just felt obliged to reply to someone who sounded so similar to me!! :)
