ah my parents were like that before, but back then i’d go out on my own and stuff and when i’d be back i’d just sit down and watch tv with them or cook them a nice meal, just to show my grattitude or something. its basically being a suck-up but hey, it works. xD

but i agree with angel_devil,
just basically get some coffee, bring your parents to the living room, and have a nice good sit-down talk with them, say that ‘all my friends get some more freedom, my cousin gets it, and i feel like im being locked up unable to do stuff, i cant just ‘hang out’ online or anything’ and basically give supporting reasons and stuff. tell them ‘if i cant go outside i’ll lack a true social life (no offence, xD) and if i lack a true social life, ill be less likley to suceeed (its been proven)

well i dont think “getting over it” is the best thing to do. i mean yeah it might help but its still gonna bother you!
