You need either a dv deck or a camcorder. I use a deck to avoid putting hours on my camera.

Try transferring it late at night and by morning it will be done and ready to edit when you get time. The camera will be frre again too ?

Well I own a dv deck, and I have to you, they ain’t cheap! The quickest and cheapest way to capture digital video, is to buy a second, but really cheap dv camera, since it doesn’t have to do anything other than transfer video.

i am currently using my camcorder, but it messes up the heads when you capture to much on the same camcorder, its like doing 2 weddings in the same day then, if you get what im saying…

i tried looking for dv decks on ebay, but had no luck! i looked on google and they are selling for over a grand!!! way too expensive. i bought myself another camcorder with firewire, waiting for the delivery now, thanks for all the help.

cheers
