Why do the moderators show so much favoritism in the chat room?

If a user puts up a disruptive link in the posts then the user gets banned and the html is removed
But in chat there are two users that keep putting up links that the only intention is to disrupt the other users computers.
The mods seem to turn a blind eye to this but why should other user just have to put up with it.

Well. Seems you can no longer complain about lack of admin presence, so you move on to other things.

I do not know the chat situation, so I can’t really say whether your grievances are right or not.

A few questions…

What is ‘faortisum’?

Who is posting the offensive links?

And are there any mods in the chat room?

Ok, I wasn’t there, since I don’t know who, I can’t do anything.
I’ll invite Yourabi.

Well, I don’t think it would be a violation, if the things you say are true, it’s not slander.

You can make a report Sophie, if something happened, and I’ll leave it for someone else to look into. And reporting anonymously is not slanderous.

why should a user make reports in chat when you have mods there active.

Maybe the mods just left the computer on, and is not really there.

Perhaps shout the mods who are there. Maybe they didn’t realize what the links were. Like I said, I wasn’t there and don’t know.

One reason for making a report is that it makes it easier to go back in into the chat history and see what was going on at what time.

Did you try bringing this to the attention of the mods at the time in chat?

Ummm, I’m really new here, and kind of going off the subject, but I am interested in finding out the hierarchy of Help, and since there are two people in administration, I thought I would ask. I guess Mitzy isn’t admin., tho’ is she?

Anyway, if it is inappropriate to ask here, it’s Ok….I’ll go away and leave the post alone, just let me know :)

Ok, so Ken, Mas, and Mitzy are “mods.” That means that when they are on, they look at all posts and edit? Answer questions? Do they HAVE to be on at certain times or is it random? Do they HAVE to look at all posts or just what they want to look at? Do they get involved in the posts like users do? I don’t think that they do, but are they able to?

And, Yourabi is the “founder” of help? And so is it his/her job to be on as in “the highest channel.” For example, if there is a problem, a user reports (using the red flag?) to the mod…and IF a mod is on, they will somehow get a flag that there is a problem? Then they are able to “delete/close/remove…”? And if there is a bigger problem that mods can’t handle, Yourabi comes to the rescue? Is it a “job” for any of these folks?

Remember: answers are optional.

Only yesterday I had to request a little help from a mod with a bunny boiler member and got it no problem , its the first time I have had to ask but its not the first time I have seen them interact in posts. Friends are good to have but favouritism won’t come into it though I would if it was me treat my friends with respect when I tell them to behave. But in same hand I would not allow them to break the forums rules either.
