Money help: My car (2005 Accent) won’t start. - Help.com

My car (2005 Accent) won’t start.

No electricity, no sound. I jumped my battery two days ago. Could it still be that or is it something else? Any suggestions? I’m don’t have enough money right now to call a mechanic

If it runs after you jumped it it could be the battery or alternator. To check the alternator with it running remove the negative cable from the battery and if it stays running the alternator is all right then it’s the battery. Hope this help I’ve been a mechanic for longer then I want to remember have a good evening.

SOunds like it could be an electrial problem also. Are you putting in the right kinda gas? Have you changed the oil lately? Just so many things that could be going on. Let me know if you want to talk.
