Money help: Help, I botched up my checking account by overspending and not accounting for a transaction that I thought had already cleared. - Help.com

Help, I botched up my checking account by overspending and not accounting for a transaction that I thought had already cleared.

My husband works for a company that shut down for 3 weeks in July and my boss went on vacation in July for one week. We were both without income for a total of 4 weeks. We live paycheck to paycheck and didn’t have paid vacation time yet at these jobs. I thought I had more money in the bank than I did. I need to cover my Aug mortgage and utilities. I just need $1,000 to help me cover these expenses. I am a dental assistant in the Fort Collins, CO area who can work on Wed, Sat, Sun to repay this loan or can work as an office assistant on Wed or weekends as well. I don’t want free money but need some help within the next week. THanks for reading and consideration.

Thanks for the advice, but like I said, we live paycheck to paycheck. Wouldn’t it be nice to have $1,000 in the bank all of the time, let alone $5,000.
