Well, I have my degree in computer science and I’m currently doing tech support and programming for a major financial company. A degree in computer science, or information technology, or even information systems (if you’re more interested in the business side of things) would help you along your way if computers are what you’re interested.

yes computer programing is a perfect fit for computers and math.
are you able to sit for long periods of time and concentrate on a complex
sets of code to make something happen the way you want it.
I have written code and sometimes you have to run it hundreds of times to get it right. Partly because I’m kind of stupid. But generally it is demanding
and requires clear thought and logic. Lots of logic. If this then that.
Type of expression.
