Hi, I am a USMC wife going through a separation and a divorce.

My husband came home from Iraq a little a year ago, and claims it has changed him. What I really want is to hear from someone whose been there and can give advice. Thanks

Hi,
I’m an Army wife. My husband spend 1 year in Iraq. Though he was not in combat, he came back changed too. I have a friend whose husband was special forces and he was returned really messed up mentally, emotionally, psychologically. Are you separated already or are you just considering it? You really need to try to convince him to go to counseling (not with you yet). There’s a lot that our guys go through over there that they may never tell us, but as long as they hold it in it’s like a cancer growing inside them.

my husband has already filed for separation. He knows he’s had a problem but has refused to seek help.

Hello my name is victoria my husband came back from iraq in may of this year. We didn’t get married until after he returned. I added him unto my lease cause he was my husband of course. We lived together for about 4 months then he asked me for a divorce. He told me he was no longer in love with me. That i had to move out of the apt cause i didn’t pay rent cause he didn’t want me to work. That was my apt that i had lived in for the past 5 years with my children the kids are not his, but they are his step children. I have been trying to seek help and no one is trying to help me on base.
